For some reason, I’m really loving this episode. It could have a lot to do with the “Conspiracy” sketch, which was shot a few months prior to us actually doing “Sparkle Picnic”. It was just going to be a short film, and we never cut it together because the footage wasn’t that great. However, I got my hands on it about two weeks ago and figured still frames would work, which meant I could divvy up the dialog and make it insanely entertaining (to me, anyways). You gotta love that Hontos, he can really improv some weird shit.
Also, this marks the beginning of Youtube being cocksuckers. This is the first episode we’ve had flagged (well, they did take down Calvin’s cut of “Dick Pizza” for obvious reasons) due to sketch titles. “Clown Faggot”, “Vagina Gum” and “Robot Rapist” all had to have their titles changed before they approved the episode. Way to go, Youtube, you’ve got the market cornered and you’re phasing out edgy content. Be proud of yourself…
